My Local Shinders’

I guess technically none of them were super local…

I grew up in a small town south of the metro–so whenever we went to the Cities, if we were in the area, would beg my parents to take me to Leisure Lane–mostly for comics (got my Wolverine #1 and #2 there for sure).

When I went to college at the University of Minnesota, the Roseville location became my local Shinders–didn’t go super often, although started to more when I started buying cards again around 2000.

When I got married and moved to Eagan, Burnsville was my Shinders–although by then, they were already starting to suffer from a dwindling supply of stock–I tended to go hit the shop in Savage (before it became Absolute), or occasionally the original Three Stars in the northern suburbs on my way to/from my parents place in Wisconsin.
