Shinders was a well known Minnesota retail chain selling newspapers, magazines, comic books, sports cards & gaming cards all around the Twin Cities market.

Reaching 13 locations at it’s peak (14, according to this article), the chain closed in 2007 after a new owner ran into legal and financial difficulties.

This site has no official ties to the chain, its owners, or the original brand–just a former customer that stumbled across the domain being available one Thursday afternoon in 2021.

We are planning to add to the website, so check back to see what we turn it into!
